Lady Wolves volleyball team starts season

The Green River High School Lady Wolves volleyball team officially kicked off the season with five games in Cokeville last weekend.

Head coach Rikki Shantz said the team played and lost against teams from Cokeville, Lyman, Star Valley and Alta, Utah, but won against a team from Grace, Idaho.

In the game against Star Valley, Green River lost in three sets 25-15, 25-14 and 26-24. In the Cokeville games, the Lady Wolves lost in three sets 25-22. 25-20 and 25-23.
