Lance Christopher Diehl-Sellers

Lance Christopher Diehl-Sellers of Rock Springs passed away Aug. 26, 2018, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.

Lance was born Nov. 30, 1986, the son of William Diehl and Violet Ekenstam-Diehl in Rock Springs.

Diehl-Sellers attended school in Rock Springs and was a 2004 graduate of Rock Springs High School.

Lance married Gerald Sellers in Green River, March 26, 2010.

Lance Managed Dominos Pizza for seven years and loved his previous job at Baker Atlas as a bulk hand.

His interests included spending time with his husband and family, especially his sisters and puppies. He loved anything to do with the great outdoors: hunting, fishing and camping. Lance was an amazing gardener and loved to cook and enjoyed canning. 

Lance is survived by his husband Gerald "David" Sellers; parents Violet Keller and husband Dennis of Rock Springs, William "Bill" Diehl and wife Lane of Winnemucca, Nev., mother and father-in-law Claudia and Gary Sellers of Rock Springs; three brothers, Levi McWhorter of Ogden, Utah, Deric Keller of Phoenix and Joshua Keller of Green River; four sisters, Nicole Simmons of Evanston, Kelse Toland of Winnemucca, Nev., Brianna Knudsen of Fayetteville, N.C., and Sarah Keller of Rock Springs; grandfather Clarence Ekenstam and wife Frances of Gresham, Ore., as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Stella Ekenstam.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday, at Restoration Ministries, 518 Elk Street in Rock Springs. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
