Wolves tennis team successful in Laramie

The Green River High School tennis team notched a few more victories over the weekend, defeating both Laramie and Torrington during competition in Laramie.

On Thursday, the Wolves will travel to Rock Springs to take on the Tigers, with a second meeting between the two scheduled to take place Aug. 30.

Singles No. 1: Haylen Cordova defeated Ei Glass in three sets, 1-6, 6-2 and 6-4.

Singles No. 2: Anna Kimball was defeated by Sera Glass in two sets, 2-6 and 1-6.

Doubles No. 1: Audrie Harrison and Kaitlynn Sharp defeated Elyssa Cummings and Bethany Wunibold in two sets, 6-1 and 6-1.

Doubles No. 2: Sydney Beutel and Kelby Pope defeated Tyne Stokes and Trisha Cates in two sets, 6-0 and 6-0.

Doubles No. 3: Morgan Atkins and Rory Ratliff defeated Jaycee Myrtle and Autumn Harris in two sets, 6-1 and 6-2.

Singles No. 1: Caeden Grubb defeated Brian Fenn in two sets, 6-4 and 6-1.

Singles No. 2: Danny Christensen defeated Aidyn Saucedo in two sets, 6-2 and 6-2.

Doubles No. 1: Jerrett Atkins and Connon Friel defeated Levi Wickham and Benji Braddy in two sets, 6-3 and 6-0.
