Elvira Estrada Tejeda-Ramirez, 45, passed away July 3, 2018, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, following a lengthy illness.
She was a resident of Rock Springs for the past 18 years and is a former resident of Mexico.
Estrada Tejeda-Ramirez was born May 10, 1973, in Guadalajara, Mexico, the daughter of Silvino Tejeda Galarsa and Elisa Ramirez.
She attended schools in Guadalajara, Mexico. Estrada Tejeda-Ramirez married Alfredo Estrada in Green River in 1991. Estrada Tejeda-Ramirez enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and attending church.
Survivors include her husband, Alfredo Estrada of Rock Springs; mother, Elisa Ramirez of Tijuana, Mexico; three sons, Josue Estrada and wife Claudia Estrada of Rock Springs, Alex Estrada of Rock Springs and Erick Estrada of Rock Springs; two daughters, Brenda Elvira Estrada and husband Arron Christopher Larson of Rock Springs and Melissa Janette Estrada of Rock Springs; two brothers, Ruben Tejeda-Ramirez of Tulare, Calif., and Alejandro Tejeda-Ramirez of Tulare, Calif.; three sisters, Irma Tejeda- Ramirez of Rock Springs, Teresa Tejeda-Ramirez of Tijuana, Mexico and Cecilia Tejeda-Ramirez of Tijuana, Mexico; three grandchildren, Allison Naomi Larson, Zaiden Bentley Estrada and Adrian Ezequiel Estrada, with two more expected; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Benjamin Tejeda- Ramirez.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., July 13 at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ at 513 "G" Street in Rock Springs. Cremation will follow.
Friends may call on Thursday at Vase Funeral Home at 154 Elk Street in Rock Springs from 1-4 p.m., and again at the church one hour prior to services.
