Anthony Meese, 63, passed away Jan. 30, 2018, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. Meese was a longtime resident of Green River and former resident of England.
He was born in Derbyshire, England, July 22, 1954, the son of Rex Meese and Marlene Whaley Meese.
Meese attended schools in England and graduated in 1972.
He was married to Janette Laws in 1977 at Nottingham, England; she later preceded him in death June 15, 2017.
He was employed by Tata Chemicals, formerly known as General Chemical and Allied Chemical, for the past 39 years; He retired in November of 2017.
His interests included, following Manchester United soccer team, he was an avid NASCAR fan, loved spending time with his family and companion yorkie named "Little Dude."
Survivors include one son, William Meese and wife Karen of Green River; one brother, Dave Meese and wife Trish of England; two grandchildren, Landon Meese and Kason Meese.
He is preceded in death by his wife and parents. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
