Families who have an incoming kindergarten student for the 2018/2019 school year, who turn 5 on or before Sept. 15, 2018, are encourage to register now.
Sweetwater County School District No. 2 is asking parents to enroll their students at their home schools. Early enrollment will not only assist the District in determining seat counts, but will help ensure the best chance for the child to attend their home school or have a voluntary transfer application approved due to class-size restrictions. Boundary information is located on the district’s website http://www.swcsd2.org under the parents icon. Then, scroll down to school boundaries and look at new 2018-2019 elementary school boundaries.
Exception: If a parent currently has a kindergartener, first, second, third or fourth grade student enrolled, please enroll your incoming student at their sibling’s school.
Enrollment forms can be picked up at the District Central Office, located at 351 Monroe Ave., any elementary school, or can be completed and/or downloaded from the district’s website under the parent icon. Then, scroll down to K-12 registration information.
Parents who know of another family that may have an incoming kindergarten student that may not receive this message, is encouraged to pass this information on to them.
