Karlene Atkinson of Rock Springs and Kyle Gilmore of Green River recently announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The couple got engaged June 1, while on vacation in Victoria, Canada.
The bride elect is the daughter of Willene and Lewis Atkinson of Rock Springs and is currently employed as a surface electrician at Ciner.
She graduated from Rock Springs High School in 2011. Graduated from Western Wyoming Community College in 2014 with an associates degree in Electrical Instrumentation and Technology.
The prospective groom is the son of Micki and Richard Gilmore of Green River and is currently employed as a surface mechanic at Ciner.
He graduated from Green River High School in 2005 and is currently attending a surface maintenance program at Western Wyoming Community College
The wedding is scheduled to take place on Dec. 9, 2017, in Evanston.
