The loss sent Green River to the consolation bracket, pitting them against Kelly Walsh, who had earned three wins over the Wolves throughout the season. The match decided third and fourth place.
Like their match with Cheyenne East, the Wolves and Trojans went into overtime during a scoreless game. Afterward, the two were pitted against each other in a shootout, which Kelly Walsh emerged victorious 11-10.
With the conclusion of the season, the Wolves only lose four members to graduation. Those players are Kalen Kester, Jacob Lock, Logan Palmer and Cody Lee.
