Hospital opens clinic Monday

Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County will open its new clinic in Rock Springs Monday, which will house physicians practicing family medicine and occupational medicine.

The clinic is located at 3000 College Hill in Rock Springs. The new offices will be utilized by Dr. David Dansie, Dr. Michael Bowers, Dr. Jacob Johnson, Dr. Lawrence Lauridsen, Dr. Brytton Long, along with physician assistants Amy Dolce, Melissa Lehman and Mark Sanders.

According to a press release from the hospital, the clinic’s location will be a one-stop medical facility for family medical needs and occupational medicine. Physicians will provide check-ups, pre-employment physicals and care for non-urgent and semi-urgent needs.

Patients with appointments after April 24 will go to the new offices and should receive reminders prior to the appointment with updated address information.

A ribbon cutting ceremony for the clinic is scheduled for April 26 at 5:30 p.m.

The event is open to the public and the hospital will have representatives on hand to answer questions regarding the new clinic offices and services provided.
