Democrats elect new officers

Two Green River residents were elected to lead Sweetwater County Democrats during the 2017-2019 term.

The two are Cathy Denman, who will serve as the state committeewoman and Todd Herreid, who was elected as state committeeman. They join new Chairman RJ Pieper, Vice-chair Joselina Mendiolea, Treasurer Dana Pertermann and Secretary Monique Vindal.

“It was wonderful seeing so many new faces. I welcome these young women to our Executive Committee and I am looking forward to their fresh ideas,” Denman said.
