Children across Green River were enjoying the new snowfall during their recess.
On Tuesday, Harrison Elementary School students were busy playing in the new snow during their recess. The children were playing all sorts of playground equipment, including an updated seesaw.
Other children stood in line for the chance to ride on one of the school's miniture zip line. The children talked excitedly as they waited for their turn. A couple of the kids helped teacher Julee Cobb push the zip lines back and forth.
One girl, Malloree Mullins, was going so fast down the zip line that her boots fell off. She laughed and laughed as other children retrieved her boots and put them back on her feet.
Meanwhile, in another part of the playground, Zayden Harrison and his friend Nathan Saldivar were playing soccer. Harrison was excited to show his friend the new soccer ball he got for a Christmas present.
Other children were playing on more traditional playground equipment, including slides and swings. When the teachers told the children it was time to go, some of them started to whine about not having enough time to play, while others quickly ran to get into line.
As the children stood in line, they talked about the weekend or what they were going to do in class the rest of the day.
