Gerald Wayne Goff, 71, passed away Dec. 10, 2016 in Riverton.
He was a resident of Community Entry Services since Jan. 2010. Previously, he resided at SWRC for many years.
He was born May 15, 1945 in Sundance, the son of Lee Goff and Ruth (Mowry) Goff. At birth, he joined a sister and a brother.
Goff was born to be a cowboy. He loved to year cowboy clothes, boots and Stetson hats as a young boy. He rode horses at his grandparents' farm where he was raised.
He also liked to go fishing and go out on a boat to fish. He liked to go camping and enjoyed the outdoors.
Survivors include his sister Joyce Boke and a niece of Texas, a nephew of Washington, D.C., and his longtime caring friend and guardian Esther Brandt of Rock Springs.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, brother Gene and grandparents.
Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at a family plot in Belle Fourche, S.D. At his request, no services will take place.
