Aaron Grant Cate

Aaron Grant Cate, 52, of Farson, passed away Nov. 22, 2016 at his home. A longtime resident of Farson, Cate died following a lengthy illness.

He was born on Aug. 9, 1964 in Sonora, Calif., the son of Gary R. Cate and Evelyn Yvonne Kerns.

Cate attended schools in Bakersfield, Calif., and was a graduate of the Highland High School.

He was a self-employed plumber and general house maintenance. His interests were fishing, reading and spending time with his loved ones.

Survivors include his mother Evelyn Yvonne Cate Reed and husband Ray L. Reed of Bakersfield, Calif.; one daughter, Tosha Cate of Bakersfield, Calif.; three brothers, Brant Cate of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Eric Reed and Shane Reed, both of Moore, Okla.; two grandchildren, Shawn Howell and Grant Howell.

He was preceded in death by his father Gary Richard Cate. Cremation has taken place and there are no services scheduled at this time.
