The week after Thanksgiving has different meanings for people.
For some, it's the start of the holiday shopping season while for others it's the time to put up the Christmas tree and hang the lights onto the house.
For students across Green RIver, it's time their schools host their annual Christmas programs. Throughout the week, schools have hosted their performances at Green River High School's auditorium, featuring children singing holiday songs and dancing on stage. On Nov. 30, Jackson Elementary was on stage, performing to a packed auditorium. Each class performed several songs, while using props during their songs.
