This Halloween was neither too hot nor too cold; and it showed in the amount of kids out and about.
Children who were dressed in various costumes, including princesses, witches, super heroes, zombies, ninjas and Disney characters made their way from business to business Monday afternoon.
Some of the costumes were homemade and others were store bought.
But all of the children had a common goal in mind -- get as much candy in their bucket, bag or pillowcase as fast at they can.
Downtown was packed with kids and their parents making their ways from store to store to receive candy from.
Some first-time trick or treaters were shy and timid about saying trick or treat to receive the candy or saying thank you after they were given some candy.
However, there were also some well-seasoned trick or treaters who would quickly say trick or treat and thank you and then run to the next place trying to collect as much candy as they could.
Some businesses over estimated how much candy they were going to hand out and hand bags of it leftover, while others ran out or were left with non-chocolate candy.
With Halloween over, it's time to focus on the next big holiday.
