Ruthie Lynn Linneman Vahlberg, 61, passed away Oct. 21, 2016 after a long illness with multiple sclerosis.
Vahlberg was born Oct. 22, 1954 to Gordon and Virginia Linneman in Douglas.
She married Ron Vahlberg in Sundance in 1975.
Vahlberg attended schools in Douglas, Wamsutter, Lander, Powell and Gillette. She graduated from Gillette High School in 1973.
Vahlberg loved to travel. Any time someone said, “let’s go,” she was always ready.
She loved to do crafts of any kind with her mother, sister and many friends. She loved to sew, quilt, knit and crochet. She loved to make these things for people she loved.
Vahlberg had a small dog named, Little Bit, whom she dressed up in frilly dresses, costumes and cute little bows in her hair for each holiday.
Vahlberg is survived by her mother, Virginia Linneman; sister, Shelley Rowland; brothers, Rickie, Gordon Lee, Ronald and Donald Linneman; sons, Dustin, Michael and Travis Vahlberg and seven grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gordon Linneman, youngest brother Frankie Linneman, husband Ron Vahlberg and son Timothy Vahlberg.
Arrangements have been made under the direction of Leavitt’s Mortuary in Ogden, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the multiple sclerosis society would be greatly appreciated.
