Russell David Price

Russell David Price, 60, of Rock Springs, passed away Oct. 22, 2016, at his home. A resident of Rock Springs for the past three years and former resident of Tremonton, Utah. Price died following a sudden illness.  

He was born on Aug. 30, 1956, in Burbank, Calif., the son of Orville Lee and Barbara Ellen Schuyler Price. 

He married Cynthia Meyers Price in Las Vegas Feb. 12, 2005. Price was a member of Restoration Ministries.

His interests included music and played with the band "Wanted" with Allen Shipley.  He volunteered for work for Restoration Ministries and was ordained as a deacon in Tremonton, Utah. He was an arborist and loved climbing trees. 

Survivors include his wife Cynthia Meyers Price of Rock Springs; one son, Russell David Price, Jr. of North Carolina; one daughter, Laura Marie Price Lantz of Sullivan's Island, S.C.; three brothers, William "Billy" L. Price of Harlan, Ind., Edward "Eddie" C. Price and Jerald O. Price both of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Lisa E. Price of Las Vegas and Melodie J. Price Williams of Rock Springs; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Russell Price and Jonathan Johnson and one nephew, Ross Price. Cremation will take place and memorial services took place Oct. 29.
