The Wyoming Game and Fish Department continue to see evidence of poaching taking place throughout Sweetwater County.
The most recent incident took place on Aspen Mountain, where a poached deer was found near County Road 27.

Only the head and back straps were taken,” Game Warden Dave Hays said. “The rifle season for deer hunt area 102 does not open until Oct. 15. Anyone who was in the area and might have seen another vehicle or hunters is urged to please give me a call.”
