The filing deadline for school board and special districts concluded Monday, with a few more residents deciding to run for election to the Sweetwater County School District No.2 Board of Trustees.
Joining Brenda Roosa, Corina Tynsky, Steve Core and Mark Sanders is Kevin Gelinas. The five seek four, four-year terms on the school board, which not only heads up schools in Green River, but McKinnon and Granger as well.
More residents have filed for the Castle Rock Hospital District Board of Trustees. Joining Lisa Robison are Robert Gordon and Reed Robbins. These terms also last four years and three seats are up for election.
In Jamestown, four have filed for election to water and sewer district board and two others have filed for the Jamestown/Rio Vista Fire District.
Those who filed for the water and sewer district are Delbert Poll, Dan Shedden, Robert Cudney and David Shillcox. The two who filed for the fire district are David Buller and James Reinard.
The names will appear on the November General Election ballot.
