Wyatt Levi Kalivas

Wyatt Levi Kalivas, 18, of Superior passed away Aug. 13, 2016.

He had been a longtime resident of Sweetwater County.

He was born May 15, 1998, in Rock Springs, the son of Paul Kalivas and Kendra Shorten. 

He attended school in Rock Springs and was a 2016 graduate of Rock Springs High School.

He was fascinated with motors and he could be found riding his motorcycle or driving his trucks in the wide open spaces. He loved all things outdoors and spent as much time as possible hunting, fishing, camping or just simply being a part of nature.

He was working as a ranch hand at the Little Sandy Ranch in Farson.

Survivors include his parents Kendra McCormick and husband, Kenny, of Superior, and Paul Kalivas and wife Kym of Edmond, Okla.; brother Colton Kalivas, sister Taylor Kalivas both of Edmond, Okla.; paternal grandparents Art Kalivas and wife Richi of Green River, Karen Ennis and husband Alan of Farson, and paternal great-grandmother Irene Kalivas of Green River; maternal grandparents Lois Conrad and husband Frank of Willow Creek, Mont.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Vern Shorten; paternal great-grandparents John Kalivas, Robert Larimore and Elna Larimore. 

Funeral Services were conducted at Aug. 22, 2016, at the Sweetwater County Events Complex, 3320 Yellowstone Road, Rock Springs, Wy.  

The family of Wyatt Levi Kalivas respectfully suggests that donations in his memory be made to Cowboy's Against Cancer, 1893 Dewar Drive, Rock Springs, Wy. 82901.
