Mary Marie White, 92, of Rock Springs, passed away July 20, 2016 at the Sublette Center in Pinedale.
A longtime resident of Rock Springs, White passed away following a lengthy illness.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1923 in LaBarge, the daughter of George and Florence Vickrey.
White attended schools in Granger.
She was employed for many years as a waitress at the New Grand Cafe and in later years as a custodian at the White Mountain Junior High. She retired in 1985.
White was a member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxilliary, American Legion Auxilliary and Young at Heart Senior Citizen's Center.
Her interests were bingo, gambling fishing and delivering meals on wheels.
Survivors include two daughters, Billie Moyer and husband Roy of Rock Springs and Wininie Nuhn of Anchorage; one brother, Clarence Vickrey and wife Mary of LaBarge; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son ,George Roy Milburn; one daughter Violet Chivers; one brother, Leonard Vickrey; two sisters, Darlene Clark and Ella Bahem; one granddaughter, Marianne McCarty; two great-great grandsons, Waylen Huber and Leo Magana.
Cremation has taken place and graveside services and inurnment will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
