Larry Dean Stoeger

Larry Dean Stoeger passed away from pancreatic cancer surrounded by his loving family Aug. 14, 2016.

He was born in Brewster, Wash. on Aug. 25, 1952 to Robert and Ila Stoeger.

He moved to Casper as a youngster and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1970. After graduating, he went to work in the oil industry. He started as a rig hand, working for Stan Starner, Meade Drilling, and Updike Brothers. He then went to work for HB&R as a dispatcher, and finished his career working as a consultant for Wickersham Consulting, until his retirement in 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carol; one son, Randy Stoeger and spouse Brandy of Green River; daughters Tina Drysol and spouse Dan of California, Robyn Stoeger of Green River, April Patterson and spouse Steve of Colorado; 10 grandchildren, Kaylin, Joseph, Brandon, Taylor, Giovanni, Chase, CeAnna, Dean, Kendall and Dane; sister Shelly Jackson and spouse Skip of Casper; two brothers, Gary Stoeger of Torrington and Chuck Stoeger of Evansville; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother; one sister, Connie Stoeger; and two sons, Dennis "Boomer" and Justin Stoeger.

There will be no services as the family will host a celebration of life at the family home Saturday at 1 p.m.
