Terrence Olson, 68, of Charlotte, N.C., passed away July 21, 2016, from complications of Parkinson's disease.
Terry was born in Aberdeen, S.D. Jan. 10, 1948, to Raymond and Dorothy Olson, and raised in Valley City, N.D.
His life was marked foremost by his love for God, and he was a devoted and loving father and husband.
He made his choice to serve God at a young age and remained faithful to the end of his life.
He was a capable and active man his entire life, enjoyed nothing more than working on the home and yard, and spending time with his family.
He graduated from University of North Dakota with an engineering degree, and Idaho State University with an MBA several years later.
He worked nearly his entire career with FMC as an industrial engineer, first in Pocatello, Idaho, then Philadelphia and finally Green River for the last 26 years of his life. He and his wife Sally relocated to Charlotte, N.C., shortly before his death.
He was married to Sally, of Bellflower, Calif., for 42 years.
He is survived by his three sons; Gregory, Donovan and Jonathan and spouse Laura; his grandchildren Paige and Hunter; brother David and spouse Lenore, and sister Corinne, of Windsor, Colo.
The funeral was held at Rose Hills Funeral Home in Whittier, Calif., Aug. 2.
