Kari-Lyn Koritnik, 37, of Rock Springs, passed away Aug. 4, 2016. She had been a lifelong resident of Rock Springs.
She was born on Oct. 25, 1978 in Laramie, the daughter of Michael Valentine Koritnik and Tara Allen Koritnik.
Koritnik attended schools in Rock Springs and was a graduate of Rock Springs Alternative High School and later attended Western Wyoming Community College and studied graphic design.
Her interests were her children and she loved attending their sports activities.
She also enjoyed boating and camping.
Survivors include her companion and soul mate Joey Campbell of Rock Springs; her mother Tara Koritnik of Rock Springs; son Kaden Campbell and daughter Ericka Campbell both of Rock Springs; one sister Katie Koritnik and companion Brad Stassinos of Rock Springs; two nephews, T.J. Whalen of Casper and Franko Shiflar of Rock Springs; maternal grandmother Joan Allen of Rock Springs; paternal grandmother Helen Koritnik of Rock Springs; extended family Julie Davis of Rock Springs, Markell Kelley and Skynyr and Jackie Butler, all of Idaho, Brandy Rizzi and husband Don of Rock Springs, Mark and Nancy Campbell of Rock Springs; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Michael Valentine Koritnik; aunt Erin Allen; cousin Ashlee Nelson; maternal grandfather Gary Allen; paternal grandfather Val Koritnik and cousin Erik Allen; extended family Doc Davis and Billy Butler.
Cremation will take place and services are pending.
