Jacquelyn Allison

Jacquelyn Allison, 72, of Green River, passed away at her home July 25, 2016 following a lengthy illness.

She was a resident of Green River for the past 41 years and former resident of Colorado and Utah.

She was born in Aurora, Colo., Dec. 6, 1943, the daughter of Stanley Hawkins and Elizabeth O'Donahue Hawkins.

Allison attended schools in Aurora High School and was a graduate with the class of 1961.

She married Martin Keith Allison in October, 1965 in Denver and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1999.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Her interests included spending time with family, camping and taking scenic rides.

Survivors include five daughters, Tina Gotschall of Green River, Jodi Gutierrez and husband Joe of Rock Springs, Rita Lucero and husband Rick of Green River, Ginger Counts and husband Scott of Green River, and Kelly Guajardo and husband Jacob of Corpus Christi, Texas; four brothers, Bob Hawkins of Massachusetts, Dave Hawkins and wife Jean of California, Ed Hawkins and Kenny Hawkins, both of Colorado; one sister, Kathy O'Dell and husband Mike of Colorado; 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews  also survive,

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Jim Hawkins and sister Diane Lambris

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Green River. A vigil service with rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Thursday at the church. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Thursday, one hour prior to the rosary and Friday morning until time of services.
