Bette Lou Wilson, 74, of Big Piney, passed away June 16, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.
She had been a longtime resident of Big Piney.
She was born on April 4, 1942 in Rock Springs, the daughter of Paul Virostko and Jimmie A. Smith.
She attended schools in Big Piney.
She married Lewis Wilson in Big Piney Dec. 30, 1958.
Wilson Began working at her parents store, Burney and Company as a child,
Later to become the owner and managed Burney and Company Grocery Store with her parents and husband for over 50 years, retiring in 2010. Her interests included gardening, cooking and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed their cabin in Middle Piney.
Survivors include her husband Lewis Wilson of Big Piney; three sons Danny Wilson, Donnie Wilson (Jalane) and David Wilson (Julie), all of Big Piney; sister Linda Leonard (Garland) of Big Piney; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Frankie. Cremation will take place and services will take place at a later time.
