Student One-act Plays
The Green River High School Theater will present A Night of Student -Directed One-Act plays.
The show is scheduled to take place April 27 at 6 p.m.
For these one-act plays third and fourth-year theater students select a 10-minute one-act play to produce. These student directors work as a team, individually, and as leaders while they create their own show. Student directors utilize their first and second-year theater peers in casting, practice and finally production. The one-act performances are free to the public.
Drama Boot Camp
Green River High School Theater will also be hosting a Drama Boot Camp, Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For this event, third through sixth graders are invited to spend a day creating a Reader’s Theater with the GRHS Theater Department. The Reader’s Theater will be performed free to the public starting at 4 p.m.
This event will help raise money for students planning to attend a weeklong theater event, International Thespian Festival, in Lincoln, Neb., in June.
