Jeffrey Brian Knott, 54, of Rock Springs, passed away March 21, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. A longtime resident of Rock Springs, Knott had been in ill health for several years.
He was born July 20, 1961 in Park Rapids, Minn., the son of the late Robert James and Mary Louise Costello Knott.
Knott attended schools in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Community.
His interests included rock collecting, rescuing stray animals, long drives on top of White Mountain. He just enjoyed his high desert surroundings.
Survivors include his brothers Bob Knott and wife Debbie of Rock Springs, Jon Homach and wife Vikki of Minnesota, Bill Homach, also of Minnesota; uncle Matt Knott of Minnesota; aunts Grace Knott of Wyoming and Colorado, Mary Semler of Idaho and Ruth Moore of Minnesota; several nieces and nephews including Brian Knott, Robby Knott, Jordan Knott, Kristen Homach, Tom Homach,Terri Homach, Stacie Barrie and Shane Barrie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Wally Hombach; and one sister, Natalie Barrie.
A memorial service took place Tuesday.
