Harry Wade Morrison, 55, of Green River, died March 4, 2016 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
He was born Aug. 7, 1960 in Cheyenne, the son of Floyd Cecil Morrison and Shirley Joyce Smith Morrison.
He was employed as an auto and diesel mechanic for most of his life.
His interests were hunting, woodworking, watching NASCAR, making miniature log cabin jewelry boxes, his dog Star, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his mother Shirley Morrison; sons Michael Morrison and Kevin Lorentzen, both of Green River, and Butch Lee of Colorado; brother Mikeal Morrison and wife Laurie of Rock Springs; sisters Rebecca Blair and husband Russell of Colorado Springs, Colo., Joyce Zwiener and husband Dan of Norfolk, Neb., Jackie Morrison of Green River, and Misty Lansberry and husband Glen of Rock Springs; five grandchildren; numerous cousins; nine nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Cecil Morrison, and grandparents Howard and Olive Smith and William and Clara Morrison.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory in Rock Springs.
Memorial services will take place 6 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
