Nancy Mauden Leslie, 67, of Rock Springs. passed away Feb. 1, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.
A longtime resident of Rock Springs, and former resident of Butte, Mont., Leslie died following a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 29, 1948 in Butte, Mont., the daughter of Arthur and Dorothy Mauden.
Leslie attended schools in Butte, Mont., and was a 1966 graduate of the Butte High School.
She married Richard Thomas Welter, Jr. and they were married many years. He preceded her in death Dec. 11, 1999. She later married Gary L. Leslie in Rock Springs June 15, 2002.
Leslie was employed at Tata Chemical as a payroll clerk for 15 years and retired March 1, 2015.
She was a member of the Ordinary Faith, Young at Heart Senior Citizen's Center and Red Desert Humane Society.
She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Gary Leslie of Rock Springs; son Shane Welter of Rock Springs and daughter Erikka Welter of Reno, Nev.
She is also survived by her granddaughter, Averie Welter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Richard Thomas Welter, Jr.
Following cremation, memorial services will take place at 3 p.m. Friday at Young At Heart Senior Center at 2400 Reagan in Rock Springs.
Friends may call at the center one hour prior to services.
The family of Nancy Mauden Leslie respectfully suggests that donations in her memory be made to Young At Heart Senior Center.
