Green River High School’s indoor track team continues to perform well early in the season.
Last weekend, the team competed at Weber State in Ogden, Utah, a meet that head coach Steve Boyd said serves as another practice for the team.
Boyd said the early meets serve as a tool to help athletes condition themselves for more important meets like the state competition and the Simplot Games.
Kalen Kester excelled in the long jump for a second week in a row. Kester recorded a distance of 20 feet, 9 inches in the event, taking second overall. Boyd said he also cracked the top six in the sprint events....
