Edith “Darlene” DeVoy, 84, of Green River, died Jan. 6, 2016 at the University of Utah Medical Center. She was born Dec. 21, 1931 in Evanston.
Gardening was her favorite hobby. She loved animals, especially cats.
Our beautiful mother would feed wild birds and deer when they would wander from the hills during winter months. She could also play one mean hand of pinochle.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Eastman of Park City, Utah, Beverly DeVoy of Ogden, Utah, Betty Lynn of Boise, Idaho and Debbie Peterson of Green River; and one son, Pat DeVoy, of Green River. Preceded in death by her parents, Len and Lydia Nibarger; and her husband, Frank DeVoy.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice or your local animal shelter. Private services were held under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home of Taylorsville, Utah.
