Golden Hour Senior Center will host its Christmas dinner Thursday.
One dinner will take place at 11:30 a.m., while the other is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. Cost is $8 per person, which includes ham, au gratin potatoes, sweet potato soufflé, peas and onions, cranberry sauce, roll and red velvet cake. This event is open to the entire community.

Those who are already making their New Year’s Eve arrangements will not want to forget about the GHSC. Once again, the center is hosting a dinner and dance on Dec. 31. The dinner will take place at 6 p.m. with dancing to follow at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for residents 55 and older and $15 for those under 55 and will include roasted petite beef tenderloin, baked potato, asparagus tops, Caesar salad, cheese ball and ice cream sandwiches. This event will wrap up around 9 p.m.
