Geraldine Mae Kallas

Geraldine Mae Kallas, 91, of Rock Springs passed away Nov. 10, 2015 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. A lifelong resident of Rock Springs, Kallas passed away following a lengthy illness.

She was born on May 30, 1924 in Fort Collins, Colo., the daughter of Luther Francis McNalley and Maude Frances Maxwell.

Kallas attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1943.

She married Jack Kallas in Laramie in 1946 and he preceded her in death in Greeley, Colo. in November of 2001.

Survivors include two daughters, Joanne L. Miller and husband Marc of Makawao, Hawaii and Barbara Yelek of Amarillo, Texas; two grandchildren, Andrea Glen of Plainview, Texas and Jacob Miller of Hawaii; several nieces and nephews, including Jack and Lilla Skorcz, Kenneth and Brenda McNalley and Larry and Laura McNalley all of Rock Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers Harold, Kenneth, Lloyd, Lewis and Ernest McNalley; five sisters, Florence Wies, Grace Dexter, Thelma Greenwood, Marion Gaston and Frances Skorcz.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
