Lorraine Cheese

Lorraine Cheese, 80, of Rock Springs, passed away Oct. 13, 2015, at the Brookdale Assisted Living in Ogden, Utah. A longtime resident of Rock Springs, Cheese had been in ill health for the past several years.

She was born on March 7, 1935, in Evanston, the daughter of Wesley and Dorothy Price.

Cheese grew up in Evanston and graduated Evanston High School.

She later attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and obtained her nursing degree.

She married Ronald I. Cheese in Evanston on June 9, 1956, and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2003.

Cheese was employed at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County for many years as a registered nurse.  Her passion was taking care of her family and her patients. She enjoyed traveling with her husband

Survivors include her three sons, Ron Cheese, John Cheese and wife Sue, and Brad Cheese and wife Jill, all of Rock Springs; two daughters Debra Tamosauskas and husband Mike of Rock Springs and Brenda Reusser of Bel Air, Texas; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her twin sister Louise.

Funeral services took place Tuesday.
