There were 90 zombies and other frightful creatures stalking the streets of Green River Saturday.
The Zombie Walk, hosted by the Sweetwater County Library System is an annual family-friendly event, or "zombie parade" that kicks off the October month to lead up to Halloween.
This year's batch of zombies started lurching at the Sweetwater County Library, down to Flaming Gorge Way, and lurched all the way to the clock tower plaza in front of City Hall.
There was a costume contest, awarding zombies with dead flower bouquets. Later, the teens and adults were invited to lurch back over to the library for a viewing of George's Romero's "Night of the Living Dead."
"The turnout was great and was pretty comparable to last year," Lindsey Travis, the library's spokesperson said.
"The Zombie Walk is always fun because people come up with such great costumes. You can tell they put a lot of time an effort into it."
