Ronald Joseph Graebert, 54, of Rock Springs, passed away Oct. 1, 2015 at his home. A resident of Rock Springs and former resident of Fair Haven, Mich., Graebert died following an illness of two years.
He was born on March 9, 1961 in Mount Clemens, Mich., the son of the late Clayton and Marcella Graebert.
Graebert attended schools in Algonac, Mich.
He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator for Sweetwater County Road and Bridge Department and following his retirement he owned his own business.
His interests included fishing and hunting, an avid outdoorsman, who loved spending time with his family.
He especially enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with his family. He was a volunteer fireman for Sweetwater County Fire Department.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Community.
Survivors include son Kyle Graebert of Michigan; three brothers, Tom Graebert and wife Jeanne of Algonac, Mich., Jerry Graebert and wife Barbara of Rock Springs, and Raymond Graebert and wife Marilyn of Lake Alfred, Fla.; two sisters, Pamela Furnari of Elmira, Ore. and Sharon Dickinson of Pensicola, Fla.; granddaughter Chloe Graebert of Green River; one aunt and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services took place Monday.
