Mary Maxine Wiggen, 90, of Rock Springs, passed away Oct. 5, 2015 at the Mission at Castle Rock in Green River. A life long resident of Rock Springs, she died following a lengthy illness.
She was born on Aug. 5, 1925, the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha Robertson.
Wiggen attended schools in Rock Springs.
She married John S. Wiggen on June 24, 1942 in Rock Springs and he preceded her in death on April 9, 2009.
She was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad as a crew driver for many years.
Her interests included going to her cabin, shopping, gardening and spending time with her pets.
Survivors include two sons, Don Wiggen and wife Pam and Tom Wiggen, all of Rock Springs; daughter Sharron Lee Gerber of Newport, Wash.; four grandchildren, Jerry Diggins, Tracy Atwood, Melissa Wiggen and Andrew Wiggen; several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and her son Robert Wiggen.
Following cremation, graveside services will be conducted at 11:45 a.m. Oct. 16, 2015 at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
