Kenai, Alaska resident Robert "Bob" Menapace, 69, passed away July 14, 2015 at his home.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Aug. 8, at Mansface Church in Green River with a reception at the church to follow.
Menapace was born March 4, 1946 in Grand Junction, Colo., and he served in the Army Reserve.
He worked for Tree Electric and for Bridger Coal Company, both in Rock Springs.
He moved to Alaska in 2002 where he worked for GLM Machine Shop in Kenai, Alaska.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elsie Menapace, and a sister, Shirley Ruess.
Menapace is survived by his wife, Roena "Randi" Menapace of Kenai, Alaska; sons Russell Menapace of San Francisco, Calif. and Michale "Sam" Menapace of Kenai, Alaska; grandson, Glendyn Menapace of Kenai, Alaska; brothers, John Menapace of Rock Springs, and Richard Menapace of Cedaredge, Colo.; sister-in-law, Barbara Hall of Kenai, Alaska; brothers-in-law, Daniel Bilyeu and Gail Bilyeu, both of Soldotna, Alasaka and Don Ruess of Green River; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Arrangements were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai, Alaska.
