Roger Pulley, 82, of Rock Springs, passed away July 14, 2015 at his home.
A lifelong resident of Rock Springs and former resident of Green River, Pulley passed away following a brief illness.
He was born on Feb. 15, 1933 in Farson, the son of the late Earl Russell Pulley and Amelia Darling.
Pulley attended schools in Farson.
He married Barbara Lee Vigil in Rock Springs Sept. 7, 1974.
Pulley worked for Husky Truck Stop for more than 20 years as a station manager; FMC Corporation as a heavy equipment operator and Lewis and Lewis Construction as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement in 1998.
His interests included hunting, fishing, camping, horses and was just an avid animal lover of all kinds.
He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Barbara Lee Pulley of Rock Springs; son Dale Wayne Pulley and wife Gale of Rock Springs; daughter Kathleen Faye Perrenoud and husband Robert of Vernal, Utah; brother John Pulley and wife Jane of Klamath Falls, Ore .; two sister-in-laws, Irene Pulley of Pinedale and Diane "Richard" Endres of Rock Springs; seven grandchildren, Paul Marcus Gonzalez and wife Erin, Adam Gonzalez and wife Angie, Petra Gonzalez and partner Heather, Ryan Pulley, Emily Hamilton and husband David, Ginger and Lindsey Pulley; eight great-grandchildren; Emma Rose Gonzalez, Hunter Gonzalez, Walker Gonzalez, Addison Gonzalez, Alexandria Hamilton, Cloe, Stormy and Tristan and several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Roger Russell Pulley; daughter Margie, who died in infancy; three brothers Clarence, Tom and Dick and sister Nancy.
Following cremation a celebration of life took place Tuesday.
