Anne M. Groshel, 93, of Rock Springs passed away June 1, 2015 following a sudden illness. She was a lifelong resident of Rock Springs.
She was born on April 7, 1922 in Rock Springs, the daughter of the late Joseph Sikich and Mary Knezovich.
Groshel attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School.
She married Lewis Groshel in Manila, Utah on June 21, 1941 and he preceded her in death in Rock Springs on Jan. 2, 1995.
Groshel was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Community.
Her interests included camping, fishing, cooking, especially pastries, spending time with family and friends and years ago working at Jays Drive In.
Survivors include one brother, Louis "Sunny" Sikich of Pinedale; Kenny Schramm and wife Sharon of Laramie and Kimberly Becvar and husband Anthony of Redmond, Wash .; five great-grandchildren Kennedy Schramm, Caleb Becvar, Andre Becvar, Jadin Becvar and Erin Becvar and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lewis Groshel; one daughter, Louann Schramm; two sisters, Rose Santich and Katherine Evezich, two sisters in infancy and six brothers John, Pete, Joe, Marion, Tony and Mike.
