Ron Ferguson

Ron Ferguson, 81, of Green River, died June 1, 2015, at his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born Oct. 10, 1933 in California, Mo., the son of Curtis Ferguson and Ann Zey Ferguson. He graduated from high school and attended the University of Southern California.

He served in the U.S. Army as special operations ranger.

He was a member of the Green River Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Church of Christ.

His interests were motor cycle racing and horses.

Survivors include his companion Joann Dice of Green River; daughters June Lewis and husband Paul, and Carla Ridenour and husband Doug all of Green River.

Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.

Private family services will be held at a later time.
