Clifford "Dutch" Clark, 91, of Rock Springs passed away, May 31, 2015, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.
A lifelong resident of Rock Springs, Clark died following a sudden illness.
He was born on Aug. 30, 1923, in Rock Springs, the son of the late Clifford Clark Sr. and Ella Lassila Clark.Clark attended and graduated from the Rock Springs High School. He married Annalee Pennington in Rock Springs on May 26, 1946, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 26, 2005.
Clark was employed with Mountain Fuel for more than 30 years and retired as a field foreman at Vermillion Basin in 1983.
He was a member of the First Congregational Church. His interests were fishing, hunting, roping and helping friends round-up their cattle. He was a true cowboy.
Survivors include two sons, Troy Clark and wife Lynn of Rock Springs and Travis Clark and wife Fern of Ryan Park. His sons were so thankful that he chose them to be his sons. They could have never chosen a better father. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Ashley Clark, Amy Clark and Ty Clark; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Annalee.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Vase Funeral Chapel, 154 Elk Street in Rock Springs.
Military honors and interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the Vase Chapel one hour prior to services.
