Lois Jean Lightner Heinrich

Lois Jean Lightner Heinrich, 86, of Rock Springs passed away March 12, 2015 at her home.

A longtime resident of Rock Springs and former resident of Riverton, Heinrich passed away following a lengthy illness.

She was born on Jan. 7, 1929, the daughter of the late Charles Groom Lightner and Alice Gertrude Wilde.

Heinrich attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School.

She married Herman Heinrich in Riverton in 1970 and he preceded her in death in 1990.

Heinrich was the owner and operator of the Oregon Trail Cafe.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3036 in Riverton.

Her interests included bingo, gambling, Wendover trips, crocheting, knitting and spending time with her family.

Survivors include four sons, Dan Goich of Rock Springs, Mike Goich and wife LaVonne of Rock Springs, Herman Heinrich and wife Theresa of Rock Springs and Porter Davis and wife Carolyn of Rock Springs; one daughter, Bobbie Mines and husband Don of Farson; 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and very special niece Donna Lou Leiting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice Lightner; great-grandparents Thomas Groom Lightner and Martha Price; husband Herman Heinrich; one brother Tom Lightner; five sisters Bess Reddon, Jeanette Ditton, Martha Black, Anne Lightner and Gertrude Lightner and one great-grandson, Daniel Willis Goich.

Funeral services took place Tuesday.
