Max Ramon Vigil, 65, a resident of Española N.M., passed away on Feb. 24, 2015 unexpectedly of natural causes and surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Ramon Vigil; and sister, Rachel Vigil.
Ramon worked as a miner at the Church and Dwight Soda Ash company in Green River for more than 10 years.
Ramon is survived by his wife Darlene Fargua of Española, N.M.; son Gabriel Vigil and wife Jamie of Loveland, Colo.; daughter Rasha Vigil Bybee and husband Greg of Rio Rancho, N.M.; grandchildren Gavin, and Roman Vigil of Loveland, Colo., and Gage and Jenesis Bybee of Rio Rancho, M.N.; mother Teresina Chavez Martinez of Española N.M.; sisters Helen Maestas and Orlando Maestas of Farmington, N.M., Cruz Segura and husband Amadeo of Farmington N.M., Molly Sanchez and husband George of Española N.M., Vangie Juarez of Reno, Nev., Suzana Sandoval of Albuquerque, N.M., Carolyn Vigil of Española N.M., Bernadette Serrano of Española N.M., and Gail Vigil of Española, N.M.; brother Joe Vigil of Española, N.M. and numerous other grandchildren, family, and friends.
Funeral service took place Saturday in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory.
