Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County has a new doctor on staff.
Dr. Wallace Curry recently joined the Memorial Hospital Urology, located in the Medical Office & Physician Clinic.
A Salt Lake City native, Curry has practiced for the last 12 years in Western Kansas.
He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Utah and subsequently graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
He returned to the University of Utah Hospital for his general surgery internship and urology residency which he completed in 2003.
Curry is board certified by the American Board of Urology and has practiced successfully for 12 years focusing on general urology including pediatrics, female urology, urologic oncology, and kidney stone disease. He has trained using the DaVinci Robotic system having performed many robotic assisted prostate and kidney surgeries.
Both he and his wife will be joining Memorial Hospital and look forward to their new opportunity after sending both of their girls off to college.
Curry is excited to be closer to the outdoors and looks forward to the opportunity to fly fish, kayak and explore beautiful Wyoming.
Curry joins Dr. Michael Sutphin, who will retire this Spring after serving Sweetwater County for 30 years.
