Vonda Louise Muir, 74, of Green River passed away Feb. 14, 2015 at the Hillside Rehabilitation Center in Salt Lake City. A longtime resident of Manilla, Utah and Green River and former resident of California, Muir died following a lengthy illness.
She was born on Feb. 20, 1940 in Green River, the daughter of the late Louis Peters and Winona Brady Peters.
Muir attended schools in Green River.
She married Rusty D. Muir in Fort Bridger June 10, 1978 and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2008.
Muir was an Avon representative for 22 years.
Her favorite thing to do was shop, in addition, she liked to travel, read and watch movies. She also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include four sons, Mike Aaron and wife Robin of Upland, Calif., Jerry Muir and companion Sunny Bouck of Manila, Utah, Kirk Brandt of Lyman, and Ryan Brandt and wife Angie of Duchesne, Utah; one daughter, Marie Cowden and husband Dale of Green River; one brother, Frayne Smith and wife Claudia of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; one sister ,Connie Vandenburg of Green River; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three aunts; two uncles; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Cremation will take place and a celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
