Peter Martin Hart

Peter Martin Hart, 54, of Green River died Jan. 6, 2015 at his home after a battle with ALS. He was born June 24, 1960 in American Fork, Utah, the son of Samuel Nils Hart and Iris Marie Walker Hart.

He attended schools in Green River and graduated from Green River High School with the class of 1979.

He married MonaLinn Crane Aug. 3, 1979 in the Provo LDS Temple, Provo, Utah.

He worked for Solvay Minerals for 33 years.  He was part of the group who put the first Christmas tree on top of Mansface in Green River.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

His interests were the NRA, camping, four-wheeling, traveling, collecting guns, shooting and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife MonaLinn Hart of Green River; mother Iris M. Hart of Green River; son Jakob P. Hart of Green River; daughters Jennifer Hart Goff and husband Trevor of Littleton, Colo., and Jessica Linn Smith and husband Brandon of Minot, N.D .; brothers Gary Martin and wife Barbara of Eagle River, Alaska, Samuel Hart and wife Jessica of Indianapolis, Ind., Nils Hart and wife Terry of Layton, Utah, and Micheal Morrison and wife Susan of Irvine, Calif .; sister Paulette Carlson and husband Mike of Green River; parents-in-law James L. and Esie Crane of Green River; brother-in-law Kenneth Crane of Green River; sister-in-law Janet Rawlings and husband Mark of Fruitland, Idaho; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Samuel Hart; grandparents Don and Pearl Walker, and Celdon and Ivine Hart.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday.

Interment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
