Mary Louise Hernandez

Mary Louise Hernandez, 79, of Green River, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, peacefully at her home surrounded by family.

She was born Sept. 14, 1935 in Maxwell, N.M., the daughter of Louie Sena and Lucy Sena.

She married William Hernandez Sr. in Raton, N.M.

She worked as a CNA for the senior center in Rock Springs for 20 years, retiring in 1999.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Green River.

Her interests were her pets and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include husband William Hernandez Sr. of Green River: sons Jerry Hernandez and wife Lana of Reliance, Willie Hernandez Jr. and wife Connie of Billings Mont; daughters Terrie Lucero and husband Jesse of Green River, Linda Nehrer of Fallbrook, Calif .; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louie and Lucy Sena; brothers Alvin Sena and Troy Bernal; sisters Lela Sena and Joyce Sena.

A mass of Christian burial took place Friday.

Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
