Naydene Ruth Hackett

Naydene Ruth Hackett, 93, of Cheyenne passed away Nov. 19, at Cheyenne Healthcare Center. She was born Feb. 12, 1921 in Salt Lake City and had lived in Cheyenne for the past five months with prior residence in Green River for many years. Naydene was a member of Parents Without Partners and Cowboy's Against Cancer. She was a volunteer with Sweetwater County Hospice and for Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. She was an avid football fan and held a special place in her heart for her dear Denver Broncos. She enjoyed reading, politics and had a soft spot for animals. Naydene is survived by her four children, Pete and wife Dorothy Hackett of Denver, Pati and and husband Gene Smith of Cape Coral, Fla., Toni and husband David Sheneman of Lakewood, Colo. and Mari and husband Ron Raupp of Roachdale, Ind .; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral liturgy has already taken place. Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
